The Entrepreneur’s Organisation is back with the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards competition. It is a competition that spreads across different countries. Each country has its own specific deadline and can be applied through this portal. The competition is mainly for the presently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate students. The students must own a company that is at least six months old with at least US$500 in generated revenue or US$1000 in investment.
The competition scales from participating in a local competition to advancing in a regional level competition and lastly, getting shortlisted for the GSEA Global Finals. The winner of the competition receives a package of US$50,000 along with the travel and lodging expenses covered. The second place receives US$10,000 whereas the third place receives US$ 5000.
While the prize is something to look forward to, there is much more in store during the competition. The GSEA helps the student business owners through feedback, mentorship, refined storytelling, expanded networks, and media exposure. The application deadline is on 30th November 2021.
