Research and Analysis Internship at CEI


CEI is currently looking for dynamic, young, entrepreneurial and self-driven individuals to become our research and analysis intern.

CEI or Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a not-for-profit organization registered under the Company Registration Act of Nepal in 2019 to works in various fields and sectors ranging from civic engagement, entrepreneurship, community development, literature preservation and promotion and partners with local bodies, institutions and like-minded people to further our cause to make our organization as inclusive as possible. 

Internship Title: Research and Analysis Return

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:  

  • Research and Analysis
  1. Assist with research, writing, analyzing, and sharing of CEI’s project activities
  2. Assist in developing and writing proposals and reports
  3. Support the compilations and analysis of topics relevant to the CEI’s project, including assisting in compiling data gathered from the CEI’s project activities
  4. Assist in monitoring and assessing results received from the donor-supported projects
  5. Research and report writing on potential project narratives 
  6. Other relevant tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor(s)
  • Program Logistics 
  1. Work closely with the team to execute the project activities 
  2. Assist with planning and organizing of on-site/online project activities
  3. Other relevant tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor(s)

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest, understanding, and/or work experience in social innovation, politics, governance, citizen engagement, and related fields are preferred.
  • While we accept candidates from all academic levels, background, or experience in International Affairs, Development Studies, Social Work, Business, Economics, Humanities, Communication, and Psychology or other related fields is preferred.
  • Very good with online apps like Canva, Asana, Miro, Kumo, etc.
  • Have a growth mindset.
  • Impeccable organizational/time management skills.
  • Willing to learn and tackle problems under uncertainty through creativity, teamwork, and judgment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and Nepali.

CEI will provide compensation on a monthly rate basis. The rate will be mutually agreed upon, commensurate with the level of deliverables, qualifications and experience of the candidate.
