Qualifications: BMM, BMS, MBA Marketing, Mass Communication – a degree in social media and digital marketing would be great

Experience: Professional experience in a social media environment, ideally worked
in an agency or a retail brand


  • Devising & executing Social Media strategies to grow overall audience
    & engagement on Instagram, Facebook & Pinterest profiles
  • Managing a Paid Social strategy to deliver against business commercial
  • Leading creative campaigns, ensuring we are continually developing the
    most engaging & cutting-edge content/ visuals for all platforms to inspire
    interaction from our followers
  • Experience in building social media communities around a brand and
    help us grow our presence via community engagement
  • Experience in working with influencers, negotiating rates and
  • Planning and executing content calendar based on relevancy, important
    dates to drive engagement
  • Researching key trends and new developments within the social
    landscape and communicating research weekly to the Marketing Team
    to create new concepts and ideas around this
  • Copywriting for blog content and social media channels
  • Monitor content activity of competitors in ecommerce and social pages
  • Social Media Reporting and analytics, acquainted with using tools like
    BuzzSumo, Hootsuite


  • Subscriber to social media examiner, attended digital conferences,
    being on top of social media trends
  • Ideally would have worked with a brand with a verified Instagram
    account and have understanding of Instagram verification
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Deep understanding of the Digital & influencer landscape
  • A proven track record of growing and engaging communities in social
  • A creative eye for both copy, video and design
  • Experience of successfully managing a social budget and using paid
    campaigns to enhance organic growth
  • Proven track record of creating engaging visual content
  • Proven track record of strong writing style
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects in
    an organised but flexible manner & prioritizing when necessary
  • Passion for creative brainstorming and conceptualizing
