EntrepreneuHER- first cohort at the Finale witnesses two winners!

On 28 th February, 2021 EntrepreneuHER declared Shailaja Kasaju’s- Tekka and Shrijana Bhusal Learn Loksewa as the winner of its first cohort.

EntrepreneuHER is joint initiative of Clock b Business Innovations and Jyoti Bikash Bank along with Blincventures.com as a startegic partner, designed for women wanterpreneurs and Entrepreneurs officially in operation since the last week of January. This program was able to receive 217 applications, at least 5 application from each of the seven province of Nepal. With a vision to develop women entrepreneurship and their spirit in Nepal, this program gave opportunity to 35 women wanterpreneurs and entrepreneurs to be part of Virtual Incubation Program and made them well equipped with the Know-How of Business related skills, financial knowledge and the power of Networking in the entrepreneurial community. Through the screening process out of 35, only ten participants /idea was allowed to pitch their final idea inform of investors, juries and other high-profile distinguish guest.

The final pitch or the conclave day for TEN selected participants was held at hotel Sangri-la.
Conclave day witnessed more than 50 guests from different sectors. The program began with a welcome speech by C.E.O of Clock b Business Innovations, Mr. Binay Devkota and DCEO of Jyoti Bikash Bank Mr.Paras Raj Kadel.


This conclave day also has a panel discussion revolving around the agenda EntrepreneuHER ecosystem. This discussion was very insightful and we witnessed diverse panelists from the Education, Media and Bank sector. From education sector we had Ms. Shailaja Adhikary(Founder of IEC), media sector- Ms. Charu Chadda (Editor, Business 360), banking sector-Mr. Shreehandra Bhatta (C.E.0 Jyoti Bikash Bank and Vice- president of FWEAN-Ms. Neetu Rayamajhi Khatri.

The modality of the program was to provide Seed Fund up to 50 thousand and Equity Investment Fund of about 2 lakhs to only one winner. However, the jury decided to award two unique and innovative ideas/business- the Tekka and learn Loksewa. This program ended with a vote of thanks by Chairman of Jyoti Bikash Bank Mr. Hari Prasad and winner announcement by the Jury Members.

Clock b Business Innovations has been in operation since 2014. Since its inception it has been working with Wanterpreneurs, Entrepreneurs and investors. In the last five years of their operation in the market they have successfully hosted 300+ business events in which 5000+ participants from different geographic regions, nationalities and work backgrounds have attended our events. During this period, they have been able to pen numerous business partnerships, collaborate with 100+ investment partners and worked at 25+ consulting assignments. They have also successfully contributed to mentorship and training for hundreds of startups and have facilitated investments in 10+ businesses. Keeping the same fervor, Clock b collaborated with Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited to co-organize the EntrepreneuHER an initiative which attempts to accelerate the women led ventures in Nepal.
