Sikable is looking for deserving candidate for Business Development Specialist.

Job Title: Business Development Specialist


  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an education or similar industry with a Bachelor’s degree or 1 years’ experience with a Master’s degree.
  • Specialization in Marketing is a plus.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary will be discussed based on the incumbent’s experience and expertise.

Job Description

  1. Analyze the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues and product deficiencies in order to provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.
  2. Explain prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.
  3. Prepare the annual marketing budget and track the expenses against the budget.
  4. Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices.
  5. Analyze sales reports, and provide strategies to Trim overhead and increase profit
  6. Identify educational industry experts (institutions and individuals), establish relationship and onboard them to create, run and market the course via Sikable
  7. Identify Sikable Meeting “Baithak” potential clients, conduct demos and establish contract and agreements with the clients.
  8. Generate weekly, monthly sales report and present it to the team.
  9. Establish strategic alliances with the experts, institutions and whole-sellers, resellers and customers.
  10. Liaise between the technical developers, IT and Operations lead, finance, marketing and sales, both inside and outside of the organization.
  11. Regularly identify leads for online courses, events and Baithak meetings and build strategy and execute it to succeed.
  12. Aware of education trends and events and willing to capitalize on the so.
  13. Ensure an excellent student/client/collaborator experience while partnering or taking services from Sikable.
  14. Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision-makers
  15. Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
  16. Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects.

Special Knowledge, skills and Abilities

Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and team relationships to ensure effective collaboration by various contributors to the process, including contributors from multiple offices/units and at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent research, data analysis/synthesis, and presentation skills. Experience in organizing and managing and disseminating large and complex sets of business information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle the high-stress environment of business development with grace and a sense of humour
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated good judgment and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work proactively
