Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation has announced Digital Media Literacy Workshop in collaboration with Shaasan. The program is aimed at providing an overview of key concepts of digital media and essential digital literacy skills.
The vision behind the workshop is to educate young individuals about the digital media landscape in Nepal and improve their ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create, and communicate digital information. The session is filled with presentations, group sessions, games, and discussions to promote the idea of learning in a fun and interactive manner.
It is a part of the Shaasan workshop series which is a full-day interactive training session where participants are provided with an opportunity to engage themselves and discuss different educational topics on ongoing social, political, economic, cultural or other issues. The purposes of the workshop are to improve the participant’s capability, critical thinking skills, productivity, and performance.
The target audience for the Digital Media Literacy Workshop is young individuals who are currently enrolled in high-school or recently completed high-school (16-20) years old. Priority will be given to applications who are minorities or from marginalized/ historically disadvantaged communities, including but not limited to women, LGBTQIA+, differently-abled individuals, ethnic minorities etc.
