TechWebinar is yet again back with another innovative session on ‘Computing Education for young girls and Bridging the gender gap in STEM field’. The session is happening on the 21st of November, 2021 starting at 7 PM.
TechWebianr has been dedicated to promoting the tech culture in Nepal by conducting informative sessions on various aspects relating to the tech field. This time they are focusing on the status of STEM education in Nepal and the gender gap that exists in the same. The session will be facilitated by Ms. Pratiksha Pandey the CEO of Smart Cheli and Sulata Dhakal the Program Director at Smart Cheli.

These agendas will be facilitated by the speaker Ms. Pratiksha Pandey who is an Electronics and Communication Engineer. She has been working in this field for four years.Currently, She has been working as a mentor for 1000 girls, 1000 futures program of New York Academy of Science. And also, she has been awarded the Power of Radiance award 2020 for working in the field of girls education.

Agenda 2 will be discussed by another speaker Ms. Sulata Dhakal. She is a Master’s degree graduate in Structural Engineering from Pokhara University and was honored with Erasmus+ Scholarship for a mobility program. In addition, she is the Program Director of Smart Cheli and loves working with young minds, and aspires to contribute towards the future of girls in STEM.
