U.S Embassy Announces Funding Opportunity

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy Kathmandu is seeking proposals for grants/cooperative agreements from non-profit, non-governmental organizations, think-tanks, and academic institutions. However, the focus of the grants will be on the priority areas as specified by the program. Through this opportunity, the projects on priority areas will be supported with grants worth $5,000-$24,500.

  • Mitigating the Socio-Economic and Mental Health Impacts of COVID-19
  • Address climate change
  • Indo-Pacific Vision
  • Entrepreneurship Development
  • Democratic Governance
  • Youth, women, and minority empowerment
  • Social Change through performing arts

Eligibility Criteria

U.S and Nepal registered nonprofit, civil society/ non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions with relevant documented programming experience are eligible to be a part of the opportunity.
