TEDx has been an emerging name in Nepal with many events conducted yearly. The story of TEDxDurbarmarg goes back to the year 2017 when two young minds connected together for providing a credible platform for Nepali people to share their idea which had the potential to make a change and had to be shared to the world. Their passion led to what we know today as TEDxDurbarmarg.
TEDxDurbarmarg has become a name in itself for providing space to all the credible ideas not only limited to Nepal but in entire South Asia. They have conducted over 40 events, 8 different projects showcasing 80 speakers in the last 2 years.
TEDxDurbarmarg will be holding its first 100 plus TEDTalks in June and the second one in December. Hence they are calling for ideas that are worth being shared in the open platform. They are also planning to create a world record by holding the world’s highest-altitude TED event at Everest Base Camp later next year.
