Global Startup Weekend Kathmandu: Women, Girls and SDGs is a platform for all the female entrepreneurs who have ideas that support the implementation, monitoring/ evaluation, and achievement of any 17 SDGs. The 17 SDGs are built on the successes of the Millennium Development Goals including new areas such as climate change, economic inequality, sustainable consumption, peace and justice, etc. The SDGs work in the spirit of collaboration to make the right choices now to improve life, in a sustainable way, for future generations. The program will be held from 14 to 16 February, 2018 at Nepal Innovation Lab (NLAB) with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship among women in a nation. This is an intensive three days (54 hours) mentoring program intended for the female startups. The winning team will qualify to participate in the global competition to be held in Paris, France in March 2018 on the occasion of Women’s Day.
