Retail giant Bhatbhateni has started providing home delivery service to customers. While home delivery service was initially limited to Kathmandu Valley, the service has now been extended to Pokhara, Chitwan, Bhairawaha, Butwal, Biratnagar, Nepalgunj and Dharan.
The store accepts fresh orders each day and customers are served on a first come first serve basis.

The online food delivery platform is now delivering groceries at your doorstep via its new delivery arm- Foodmandu Fresh. Foodmandu Fresh has partnered with six suppliers until now that includes : Valley cold store, Kheti food, Agrimove, Nepal Dairy, Nanglo Bakery and Golden Fresh Mart. Get your fridge stocked in this lock down by ordering dairy, vegetables, bakery and meat items from Foodmandu Fresh.
You can place your order by either using the Foodmandu app or by visiting their website https://foodmandu.com/. The company starts taking orders from 12:00 pm onwards until they reach their full capacity. Deliveries are claimed to be fulfilled within 4-days of order placement and the company is only accepting online payments using : Khalti digital wallet, Fonepay and E-sewa.
Big Mart and Daraz
Collaboration has replaced competition and we can see this unfolding in front of our eyes during the COVID-19 crisis with the strategic partnership between brick and mortar retailer Big Mart and e-commerce platform Daraz.
Daraz and Big Mart have come together to make sure people have access to daily essential items at their doorstep. The list of items that they are delivering includes: personal hygiene products, female hygiene products, baby essential, cleaning essential among others. The delivery service is available to all residents living inside ringroad and to residents living in prime-location outside of ring road
You can place an order using daraz app and make payments in either cash or using an online payment option. Customers also have the option to track their orders and get up to 10% discounts on their orders.
Sasto Deal is yet another E-commerce platform that is delivering home essentials in this period of lockdown.
Farmers’ market at Le Sherpa
If you are someone who is missing fresh/ organic produce fruits/vegetables at weekly Farmer’s market then they have got you covered. The Le Sherpa restaurant is delivering items like: vegetables, cheese, eggs, milk products, honey and other products from vendors who come to the market. Stay home and stay well-nourished by ordering from them.
