Yunus Social Business Center along with several national level organizers and regional organizers recently conducted workshops in all the provinces of Nepal for the 4th National Social Business Challenge. Blincventures.com as a co-organiser played an active role in facilitation at two locations namely Birgunj and Pokhara. Although the modality and the structure of
the two workshops were different, the main objective of these workshops was to teach the basic of idea generation, problem identification and the business model canvas to young individuals and foster entrepreneurial mindset.
The bootcamp in Birgunj took place on May 27, 2019 in National Infotech College and saw a total of 50 participants from National Infotech College and Birgunj Public College along with students from other colleges. Mr. Nanda Kishor Mandal from YSBC facilitated the session while the co-organizers helped in mentoring and smoothen the facilitation.
The bootcamp in Pokhara was spread across two days June 1st and 2nd with 7 teams and 3 members coming from various colleges across the region. It was hosted at a rustic location of Chanaute Village, Kushma and included four different sessions facilitated by various regional organizers and co-organizers as below

3. Social Impact analysis – Surendra Pariyar, Bahini foundation
4. Idea pitching – Binayak Poudel, Urja Lab and Nikhil Shakya, blincventures.com
The heavy focus on the 3 – minutes presentation idea pitch gave the participants a peek in the world of start ups encouraging the younger generation to venture out in the world of entrepreneurship.
